Peek Inside Action Star Steven Seagal’s Bulletproof Scottsdale Home

If we could design a house from scratch with an unlimited budget, we would choose so many amenities. We would want lots of land for the kids to run around on and a pool for those hot summer days. We'd also ask for a closet that could be a small house on its own. Although such dream homes are fun for us regular people to picture in our minds, celebrities with big budgets can turn their fantasy homes into reality pretty easily. Steven Seagal did just that with his Scottsdale, Arizona, residence — although he's now selling it, so perhaps he's moving on to something even bigger and better?

Thanks to his talent raking in millions at the box office, the Hollywood action star owns an 8,000-square-foot mega-mansion within an exclusive gated community on Desert Mountain. According to TopTenRealEstate.com, the home, which sits on 12 acres of land, is on the market for $3.4 million — and it looks like it's worth every penny.

Steven is no stranger to real estate and owns homes all over. He purchased this desert hideaway back in 2010. In the past 10 years, he has listed the home for sale a few times, and this latest price drop shows that he's really serious about moving.

Now, most of us probably aren't in the market for a multimillion-dollar home, but that doesn't mean we're not curious. We've got photos of the swanky property Steven is selling, so come take a peek!

It's a Looker!

According to TopTenRealEstate.com, this home was constructed in 2001. It's built right into a hillside for added privacy, and it offers incredible views from every window. The main home spans more than 8,000 square feet and is accompanied by a 600-foot guest home on the property.

The Window-Filled Exterior

Steven might be unloading this amazing house, but whoever calls it home next is going to be very lucky. The residence is in a private area that overlooks "the Chiricahua Golf Course, the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale, and the valley beyond," TopTenRentals.com reported. The entire property is guard-gated for extra security, and if that's not enough, the windows are fashioned from bulletproof glass. (Looks like Steven might have taken some inspiration from his action-movie sets.)

The View From Above

Taking an aerial look at the mansion, we can see just how much space this home offers. On top of the bedrooms and bathrooms, there are also several terraces to take advantage of the scenic views and warm Arizona weather. In addition, the home boasts a three-car garage and more outside parking space, so it's perfectly set up for anyone who loves to have family and friends over.

A Grand Entrance

As if the size of the home wasn't welcoming enough, this entrance is very elaborate, especially with those artsy statues. Its expansive, open feel provides the perfect transition into the home, which is filled with super-large windows offering panoramic views. It's all about bringing the outdoors in.

The Decadent Dining Area

In these celebrity homes, we often see oversized dining tables fit for a palace. We're not sure if that's common because there's a lot of entertaining going on in the space or if it's simply about finding a table large enough to fit the vast space. But Steven's table is actually somewhat small, and with all those windows and views, it makes the dining area feel larger than life.

A Family Room With a Fireplace

Take a moment to soak all this in. We particularly love the sleek TV display wall, which is detailed with beautiful tile and stonework. It serves as a striking focal point for the room, and it's not only functional but gives the space an elegant, extravagant feel. Add in wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows, and there's no question that this modern family room is a big selling point for the home.

An Amazing Kitchen

One of our favorite rooms to see in these celebrity mansion home tours is, of course, the kitchen. This room really makes a home and can be a huge selling point (or a deal breaker if it's just not up to snuff) for a home buyer. Although we've seen far more extravagant celebrity kitchens than this one, it's sleek and up to date and seems large enough to entertain in style. It definitely passes our inspection.

A Living Room All About the Views

A living room is an ideal space for entertaining. This one has the benefit of those gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in incredible views for guests to enjoy. It features pillars with a distinctive rock texture, matching the rustic charm of the home's exterior.

Beautiful Landscaping

Arizona has a warm desert climate, and the landscaping around this home takes that into account, doing a beautiful job of creating a lush green look with the types of plants that do best in hot, dry weather. We love the different shapes and textures, from the towering cacti to the stone walls and pillars. It's a calming, nature-based vibe.

The Infinity Pool of Our Dreams

We have no idea who first came up with the idea of an infinity pool, but oh goodness, it's everything that's right. The clear wall on one side makes the pool look like it's endless, blending into the beautiful view that surrounds it. The pool is well-sized for both soaking and lounging or swimming laps.

A Heavenly Spa

A mansion wouldn't be complete without an outdoor spa. Even though this in-ground hot tub is not as fancy as some we've seen, it's got a striking geometric design and some killer views surrounding it. We imagine it was very relaxing for Steven to soak there after a long day at work doing stunts or working on martial arts.

Could You Imagine This Being Yours?

The spa was nice and all, but this view really sells it. Wow! We imagine sitting there after a hectic day, soaking all our stresses away while taking in this beautiful mountain vista. The desert sunsets must be something to behold!

The Large Main Bedroom

Funny enough, the master bedroom doesn't seem to be anything too special. It's not overly large (from what can be seen in the photo) and there aren't any noteworthy design details. But what it does offer is a lot of beautiful light coming in from oversized windows, and that's something that many homes don't have.

Appreciate the View

The main bedroom may be smaller in size, but it's got a bonus space thanks to this breathtaking terrace, which can be entered through a set of french doors. Clearly, the design of this house is all about getting closer to nature. It's a stunning view.

A Bathroom Bigger Than Most Rooms

Typically, bathrooms aren't a huge sell in a home. We want them to be big enough to get ready in or to accommodate a few kids brushing their teeth at the same time. But this mansion doesn't have the same space constraints as a regular home. Steven's bathroom features his-and-her sinks and a giant marble soaking tub in the middle of the room that looks beyond inviting.
