Sometimes, people forget that Taylor Swift is an adult who can make her own choices. In a video that has been making the rounds, it looks like Travis Kelce smoked weed during a post-Super Bowl win celebration, and possibly offered some to his girlfriend. And while we didn't see Taylor indulge, the mere fact that she was around someone smoking weed divided fans. Some were horrified and thought Travis was a bad influence, while others were quick to point out the fact that Swift is 34 and can do whatever she wants.

Travis and Taylor hit up some post-game celebrations.
After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, there was a lot of celebrating going on. Travis and Taylor were spotted out at a Vegas nightclub where an afterparty for the players and their families was held, and cameras caught Travis smoking.
They appeared to have a good time together.
In the video, Travis took a hit and Taylor was talking to him. He blew the smoke out of his mouth before speaking to Taylor. The whole moment was caught on video, which has people speculating that she would have also smoked if she wasn’t being filmed.

Some people were horrified that Taylor was even around smoke.
Some of Taylor's fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to lend their opinions on her behavior.
"My girl just wanted a hit until she realized she was being recorded," one tweet featuring the video mused.
"Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift being drug addicts prove what terrible role models they are for children," one person responded.
"I’ve made my decision, I’m not a fan of this at all," a fan tweeted. "He’s dragging her into parties (or rather, clubs) I’ve never seen her ever attend, nor has she ever claimed to enjoy. It’s the honeymoon phase. They’re humoring each other, but she might develop an addiction. Drugs aren’t a joke."
Many Swifties came to Taylor's defense.
Other fans thought the negative response was overblown and uncalled for since Taylor is a whole adult and can do as she pleases.
"She's 34 and you don’t get to control her life lmao and if you’re seriously this upset about a 34 woman you do not know living her life not to ur expectations then it’s giving a whole new level of para social," one person responded.
"It’s crazy how even without smoking anything she’s getting flamed for being there i can’t imagine what would’ve happened if she did," another wrote. "It’s wild to have to think abt your public perception when smoking weed at 34 years old."
