MTV viewers have been following Kailyn Lowry's story since she and her ex, Jo Rivera, welcomed their son, Isaac, on 16 and Pregnant in 2010. Since then, Lowry starred on Teen Mom 2 from 2011 to 2022. She also welcomed six more children.
In addition to Isaac, Kailyn is mom to a son, Lincoln, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin. She welcomed two more sons, Lux, 6, and Creed, almost 4, with ex Chris Lopez. After that, Kail and her current boyfriend, Elijah Scott, welcomed their son, Rio, in 2022, followed by twins Verse and Valley in late 2023.

Kailyn Lowry posted a photo with her son, Isaac, and his father as he finished his eighth-grade school year.
On June 7, Kailyn took to Instagram with a post dedicated to Isaac. The main photo featured herself, Isaac, and Issac's father, Jo, posing together as the 14-year-old held up a certificate showing he had been promoted to ninth grade this fall.
In her caption, the doting mom noted that Isaac will enter high school this fall.
"So many things to celebrate this week!" the mom of seven wrote in her Instagram caption before adding the shocking tidbit of information. "Still processing Isaac going to high school later this year ⭐️ ."
Folks in the comments simply couldn't believe he will soon be a high schooler.
Teen Mom fans refused to believe Isaac, who they watched since Kailyn's 16 and Pregnant days, will be a high school student in a few short months.
One Instagram user wrote, "He's going where Kali????? I'm going back to sleep cause I…. I can't ."
Another follower commented, "Congratulations Isaac! I can’t even believe it ," and someone else wrote, "Why does this make me emotional? You were just crying at his 1st birthday party."
Yet another fan declared, "Look at these babies grown into little adults You are glowing," and another echoed, "Not Isaac going high-school already. D— time flies. CONGRATS!"

Others reacted to Isaac's ASL award.
One of the certificates Kailyn highlighted in her Instagram post was for excellence in American Sign Language.
"I saw that Isaac wants to be an ASL interpreter!" one fan wrote in the comments. "I am an ASL teacher and have worked with the Deaf for 24 years. We desperately need more male interpreters!! Keep up the hard work! It's a beautiful language and culture! ."
To that, Kail replied, "I hope that he continues it and pursues this!!!"
Still others praised Kailyn for her co-parenting.
In addition to comments about Isaac tackling high school and his interest in ASL, others commended Kailyn for how she co-parents.
One Instagram user wrote, "I LOVE that EVERYONE made it HIS DAY!!!! Great JOB CO PARENTING !"
Another fan declared, "I'm so proud of who you are, Kail!!!! And how you are raising this little man – Isaac is just a dream co parenting with Jo has it’s results and it’s clear as day. Sending you guys so much love, I cheer for you as if you were a friend of mine. ."
