Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has dealt with a lot of rumors during her time as a reality star, but this is one she's not willing to let go. Kailyn shut down claims that she makes her oldest son, Isaac, help her care for his younger siblings. In fact, it sounds like he wouldn't even be willing to if she did ask him to help!
Kailyn is a mom of four.
On 16 & Pregnant, fans watched Kailyn become a mom for the first time as a teenager when she gave birth to her son, Isaac, who is now 13. Since then, she's welcomed three more sons into the world, including 9-year-old Lincoln, 5-year-old Lux, and 2-year-old Creed.
A fan recently accused her of making Isaac parent his younger brothers.
And as Kail said during her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast, that couldn't be further from the truth — mostly because Isaac doesn't even like kids.
"I swear to you, you guys [heard] it first. You guys can ask Isaac by yourself. I don’t ask Isaac to help me with the other kids because he doesn’t f—ing like kids," she said.
He's not even willing to help with his youngest brother for a small task.
"He doesn’t like the drool. He doesn’t want to hold Creed, like, nothing," she continued. "He won’t even help me with Creed wipe his face or anything because he’s so grossed out by it. He said he doesn’t like kids until they’re after 5 years old, and I do not blame him whatsoever."
Good for Kail for respecting that boundary!
Kail definitely seems to be a hands-on mom.
Between what we've seen on social media and on Teen Mom 2, we don't get the impression that Kail is handing off a lot of her parenting duties to others — whether or not we're talking about her older kids.
As far as we can tell, Isaac seems to be a happy 13-year-old (though we are having a bit of trouble processing how that little baby we saw enter the world on MTV is already a teenager!).
Her kids are growing up so fast.
We don't doubt that she has her hands full with children across such a broad age range, but if she needs any babysitting help, it doesn't sound like Isaac is going to be the one she calls.
Good for her!
