‘Teen Mom’ Star Jenelle Evans May Finally Have Custody of Her Son Jace

Fans think that Jenelle Evans has been dropping hints that she's finally gained custody of her 13-year-old son after all these years. The former Teen Mom 2 star has been in and out of the courtroom trying to fight her mom, Barbara Evans, to have her son again full time, and it sounds like she may have finally been successful.

The former MTV star first piqued fan interest back in February.

In a since-deleted tweet viewed by In Touch Weekly, Jenelle teased an upcoming announcement to fans.

"I'm about to achieve the unthinkable and cannot wait to share the news with everyone," she posted February 21.

Although many people chimed in to share their theories, Jenelle didn't offer up much about what her news was going to be.

The comments were full of fan theories.

People excitedly guessed a variety of possible options, including Jenelle ending her volatile relationship with controversial husband David Eason to her return to the MTV franchise that made her famous.

Jenelle and David were infamously fired after a series of social media blunders and homophobic commentary, eventually leading to a brief split (though the couple did eventually reunite).

More than one fan guessed that she may finally be getting custody of her oldest son back.

Jenelle's hard partying ways cost her custody of her son Jace, who she shares with a former high school flame.

Barbara stepped in and took legal and physical custody of him when her grandson was still just a baby, which has become a hot button issue for the two women over the years.

In fact, Jenelle has spent plenty of time in the courtroom trying to win back her son over the years, something she's been unable to do.

A troll's comment finally forced Jenelle to respond to the speculation.

One day after teasing her happy news, a critic tried to take the former reality star down a peg. "You [sound] ratchet asf for someone making money off having a kid their mama's still raising," the person wrote.

Jenelle broke her silence, seeming to address the custody issues. "Can't wait to share my [news] to you this week about my case," she responded.

Two days later, rumors were flying that Jenelle had won her latest quest for custody.

Despite the overwhelming chatter online that Jenelle was about to reveal that Jace was home with her, the mother of three appeared to deny everything on Twitter.

"I'm not talking about custody at all," she wrote online. "That's not what I'm announcing. Don't listen to the media."

We still have no idea what Jenelle's news is, but based on her last denial, we're more confused than ever.
