It seems that Tori Spelling’s current housing woes are of her own making. The actress has been photographed in a series of questionable living situations recently, including a budget motel and an RV camper. And now, sources are saying that her dire financial situation is likely at play for everything that’s happening to her at the moment.

Tori and Dean are now 'broke.'

A source close to Tori and her estranged husband Dean McDermott spoke to Page Six, claiming that the couple is out of cash.
Apparently, Tori has a penchant for spending outside of her financial means, including staying in expensive rental homes. In 2019, the couple rented a home that cost them $13,000 per month.
She also has a shopping habit that is also out of control. "Their household bills run 100 grand a month," the source said.
Apparently she has clothes that still have tags.
"There’s no end to the spending. In 2016 she had a room stacked to the ceiling with boxes she didn’t even open," the insider shared.
The source went on to add that Tori's shopping habit led to "clothes stuffed into the bathroom with price tags still on them." And it didn’t stop there.
“Besides her shopping there’s pet care, hospital stays, private schools, you name it. The house was a pit filled with animals like pigs, snakes and ferrets," the insider added, calling the home "white trash central."
This could all be an attempt to stay relevant.
According to the source, Tori "needs storylines" to remain relevant so she can make money to support her lifestyle.
The claim is that Tori "concocts" stories like living in an RV or staying at cheap motels so she can be photographed by the paparazzi.
Although it is hard to know if this source is right, one thing is for sure: Tori is definitely getting the attention she is seeking.
Tori claimed her house was full of toxic mold.
Amid stories that she and Dean are divorcing, Tori and her five children, ranging between the ages of 16 and 6, were spotted staying in a cheap motel. Spelling claimed their house had a black mold infestation that was causing everyone to have health problems.
After the motel, Tori and the kids were seen staying in an RV at a camping area in California, indicating that the family has been having a hard time finding a place to live long term.
Her mom, Candy Spelling, has been called out too.
In fact, people have been so busy asking Candy why she's not helping Tori that she had to disable the comments on her Instagram after being called "selfish" and "shameful" while Tori lived in an RV.
A source told Page Six that "Candy spent hours on the phone trying to find [a house]" for Tori and her family, but none were acceptable to her.
"The public has gotten this picture that [Candy is] ignoring Tori, and it’s not true. Under no circumstances would Candy Spelling let her [daughter] live in an RV," another source said.
