Tom Cruise has been in the spotlight for a long time. The actor first came on the scene in 1983 and he's been steadily working ever since. With his great success in Hollywood, it's no surprise he's got several properties in different parts of the US. He owns homes in Florida, Beverly Hills, and this home in Colorado, which he helped design.

It Has All the Amenities

His Colorado home, which is near Telluride, sits on 320 acres and it's got all the amenities we usually see in a celebrity mansion. While we usually swoon over the homes in happier weather, this Colorado ranch is a beautiful getaway home.

This space holds lots of memories for the actor. A fun trivia piece, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, is that this home was the location of an interview Tom had with Oprah Winfrey. The interview was "a follow-up to Tom’s exuberant couch-jumping episode with Oprah in 2005."

Driving up to this mountain home, there's already an air of extravagance. The driveway is a mile long and has a gated entrance. The home's views are a major selling point, and the home was built with that in mind. And the house makes the most of all the views.

The property includes a four-bedroom main house and a three-bedroom guest house. The main house has a large eat-in kitchen, dining room, and living room that has so much space for any sized party. In total there are seven bedrooms and nine full baths, and each house keeps the rustic ranch feel.

For anyone who wants to have a space that feels like an escape, this home gives all of that and more. Not only is it set on 320 private acres, the trees and mountains also add to the feeling of seclusion. It's even beautiful when it's all covered in snow.

A Rustic Living Room

The main house has around 10,000 square feet of living space, and every corner has been carefully designed and finished. The home is covered in rustic-bleached-cedar timbers with native stone and beamed ceilings. There's nowhere in this home that doesn't keep that natural vibe in mind, and it shows.

A View From Everywhere

There isn't a whole lot of wall space in this home because the walls have been swapped out for large windows. That, along with the beamed ceilings, makes this home feel like it is part of the nature that's outside the windows.

This living room has parties and hosting in mind because there's enough space here for everyone to comfortably sit. The open-concept feel of the main floor allows full light to come in from the floor-to-ceiling windows, each of which has a beautiful view of the mountains outside.

Rustic Dining Room

This space has an immersive ranch feel. Full of wooden elements, there's strategic lighting to give the space a candle-lit vibe that highlights the romance of it all. Any potential buyer will need to be fully on board with the rustic vibe.

A Rustic Kitchen

We're used to seeing homes for celebrities in Los Angeles, and their kitchens are different than this one, which makes it stand out. Instead of the modern restaurant-style kitchen we've seen over and over again, this keeps the feel of a ranch kitchen. The fridge is built-in, covered in wood, and yet there's no amenity in here that's been passed over.

A cozy space for meditation and letting the worries of the day just float away. This home feels like the perfect getaway for stress — and celebrities have a lot of that. We can imagine sitting in this chair watching the sunrise or the sunset. The crisp air and listening to the birds sounds like magic.

Space for a Pool Table

While it feels like this mansion is framed as a zone for relaxing and staying calm, there's space for fun, too. This room is large enough for a full-sized pool table without it feeling crowded. The room is decorated with items that feel like they'd be in a western movie, which is very fitting.

Private & Quiet Views

From the private porch we get a good idea of how impressive these mountains are. The view from every room in this mountain ranch takes that into consideration, too. It's easy to get lost in the beauty of the land here.

Cozy Lounge

A cozy room to read a book or have a nightcap, this is one of the many rooms that offer something special for the home. The ceiling in this space is different than the main floor living room, and swaps out the intricate beams for a simpler ceiling, making it feel more calm.
