It was the end of an era, but it didn’t pass by without Travis Kelce celebrating it. In honor of the end of Taylor Swift‘s record breaking tour earlier this month, Travis threw her an Eras-themed congratulations party. Now that the photos have surfaced, it’s clear that he included every detail – and some fans believe he may have used it as the perfect occasion to pop a very important question.

On Wednesday night, partygoers began posting photos from the event.
Brittany Mahomes was one of the first to share photos posing with Taylor and their friends at the party in Kansas City, with plenty of details that referenced the Eras Tour from signature drinks to the decor. Guests were dressed up in outfits that referenced the different Eras of Taylor’s career, just like fans did at each concert.
At first, some fans thought it was a birthday party.
Because Taylor’s birthday was last Friday (December 13), fans assumed that Travis had thrown his girlfriend a birthday party. But thanks to a comment JoJo Edwards-Helaire – wife of Chiefs player Clyde Edwards-Helaire – left on TikTok that was screenshotted and shared on X, we now know it was all about the tour.
“It was a congratulations party. And a surprise from Trav,” she wrote.
Travis dressed in a familiar costume.
For the occasion, Travis wore the same costume he wore when he joined Taylor on stage at the Eras Tour over the summer, where he filled in for one of her dancers and carried her across the stage before she performed “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” at the end of the Tortured Poets Department set. Patrick Mahomes wore the same costume to the party, which makes sense because two dancers are used for that skit on stage.

Some photos from the evening sparked engagement theories from fans.
One fan on X (formerly Twitter) zoomed in on Taylor’s ring finger, showing why the image may have been edited or blurred to hide an engagement ring. So far, there’s been no confirmation either way, but it’s totally possible that the photographer just caught Taylor’s hand in action!
At one moment, Travis spoke to the crowd.
In the Instagram post that Travis’ friend Aric Jones made to share photos of the event, he included a picture of Travis holding a microphone in one hand and a cocktail in the other, Travis appeared to be making a speech or a toast – obviously in Taylor’s honor. We may never know what he said in that moment, but the wildly sweet gesture of planning this party really does say it all about how he feels about Taylor.
