Guess what time it is?
Time for another designer collection to debut at Target, of course! This time, Zac Posen is up to bat and after a preliminary look at his Target designs, I'd place him somewhere between Liberty of London and Gaultier in terms of wearability. Some of the pieces seem cute, but most of them would only work on teenagers and I am, as always, leery of the fabric.
The above dress on the right is my favorite in the collection. The one on the left is cute, but I bet it would look super-awkward in real life. Also? It's $75. That's way too high for a Target dress, even if it was designed by Zac Posen.
Here are a few other looks.
I kind of like this yellow raincoat ($49.99), although if it's wrinkled on the model, I have to wonder how it would look in real life.
I'm liking the fitted tuxedo jacket on the left ($49.99) and there's my dress again on the right– but at $69.99, it would have to look really good before I'd buy it- and then where exactly would I wear it?
This, on the other hand, is what most of the collection looks like. Yuck. I'm not even going to give you price information because if you end up buying this stuff, I don't want to have had any part in it.
To see more from the collection, go here. I don't think I'll be staying up until midnight to order any of this online, but I might stop by Target on Sunday and try a few things on.
What do you think of Zac Posen for Target?
