Sorry, nail art. There's a new beauty trend that's about to turn folks into hand models — and your best manicure almost doesn't stand a chance.
Enter cuticle tattoos.
People (more like geniuses) are beginning to tattoo beautiful and delicate designs around their nail cuticles.
These tattoos turn what is usually a manicuring pain-in-the-butt into a total work of art.
Don't get these confused with the more well-known finger tattoos that run on the inside of your finger or around your knuckle.
But like more common finger tattoos, these cuticle tattoos are probably on the more painful side, we suspect — being that you're getting tattooed right on the bone. It also might require some touching up, as it'll fade over the years.

Some are using the underrated placement as a chance to outline a flower against their nail bed.
Others go more minimal with a few dots that are still just as eye-catching.
