For decades, women have used beauty and style to either conform to a social norm or totally turn it on its face. In 2017, ladies are making both all about in-your-face womanhood. And really, what better way to celebrate all that is feminine than with an unapologetic flaunting of one of our assests?

Though some designs are just a bit of cheeky fun...
... others are using this lustful lacquering in the name of "pussy power" -- a movement that promotes unapologetic feminism.
Which is admittedly problematic, considering it can further the criticism that feminism isn't as intersectional as it could be. Touting the vagina as the sole symbol of "womanhood" can exclude trans folks and others who identify as female but lack the genitalia.
But that's none of my business. *sips tea*
Some designs are deceptively simple.
While others are a bit more in your face.
