Remember when everyone gave anyone who liked pineapples on pizza a ton of flack? Well, those pineapple-lovers just got one-upped by probably the most unusual pizza topping we've heard in a while: strawberries.
On Sunday, @MoonEmoji tweeted out an image of a deliciously cheesy pizza topped with sliced strawberries -- yes, you read that correctly.
In the caption, @MoonEmoji said that strawberries were better than pineapples, but the rest of the world begged to differ.

Many people said that this strawberry-topped meal was the worst thing to happen to the delicious gift from above that is pizza.
"What is this abomination?" someone else tweeted.
Many were left reeling.

Others said that now was the time for pineapple-haters and pineapple-lovers to band together to "defeat this evil."
I'm imagining a riot straight out of Beauty and the Beast.
Some did point out that fruit and cheese plates are a thing, although I sense a hint of sarcasm.
Also, can we just acknowledge how marinara sauce is not typically included on a cheese plate (at least, according to my extensive cheese knowledge)?
But most of all, some folks were just in awe over how strawberries were even an available pizza topping.
Never in my life have I seen this when ordering Domino's, and I know Domino's like the back of my hand.
But hey, to each their own, right?
Perhaps the beauty of pizza is that there is a pizza out there for everyone.
