Recently, a Canadian bride, being referred to as Susan, made headlines for canceling her wedding and leaving her fiancé after her family and friends refused to fund her more than $46,000 ($60,000 CAD) wedding. Social media has had quite a laugh at her absurd Facebook rant where she calls her loved ones "selfish," "snakes," and plenty of other foul names for not each willing paying $1500 to attend her day. Now, a woman claiming to be Susan's cousin and the original poster of the Facebook screenshots, is sharing some background information on the bridezilla.
Susan's cousin took to a wedding shaming Facebook group to share some background on the viral bride. And yes, she is a "living breathing human."
The cousin explained that Susan definitely has "entitlement issues," however this was a whole new level of obnoxious for her.
"Honestly, over the years she's been nice and overall sweet," the cousin wrote. She did start to get into details, however, about how her "humble beginnings" on the family farm could be what led to her extreme need for materialistic validation.
The cousin explained in the post that Susan is pretty obsessed with the Kardashians and their lifestyle.
She also added that Susan has previously complained about not being able to afford lip fillers and breast implants.
Also, this wasn't the first time that Susan had demanded an extravagant gift from her family and friends.
When Susan was pregnant with her son, she apparently asked for a "royal baby carriage" costing around $1,500 to $2,400 ($2,000 to $3,000 CAD). "She manipulated her family and friends into pooling money together to buy one," the cousin wrote.
"When I try to analyze her and her entitled behavior, I believe deep down she's very insecure about her status and how she stacks up to others."
The cousin continued, "Growing up on a farm isn't the most glamorous thing. Maybe her feelings of embarrassment and shame is fueling her craving for luxury AND MAKING OTHERS PAY FOR IT."
The cousin concluded the post by writing she is "very glad she broke things off with her ex" because Susan "needs to evaluate herself and her life."
And we totally agree!
Her cousin also describes her as "the perfect candidate for a sugar daddy." LOL.
"We all think she's being dramatic," the cousin wrote. "I also have a feeling she may have been drinking while writing this status, it's especially vulgar and incredibly embarrassing."
I mean, we totally understand that social media can put pressure on people to crave a "Kardashian style" life...
But, demanding others to fund it and then cutting them off when they don't probably isn't the best idea!
