15 Things to Get a Husband Who Has No Idea What He Wants for Valentine’s Day

It's a strange and sad heteronormative stereotype to assume men don't enjoy being spoiled. Sure, a lot of husbands tend to be lower maintenance in terms of gifts, but isn't it a smidgen unfair to expect diamonds and roses while gifting them regular old socks? While material gifts and how much they cost aren't any sort of scale upon which to measure one's level of affection, sometimes it's just nice to do a nice thing for someone we love. And what better time than Valentine's Day to do it?

So instead of heart-shaped boxers and a cheesy necktie, what about a few "lavish" gifts he'll really enjoy? Because it's not often marketed to them, a lot of men don't really have a concept of the finer things in life. They are typically content with the cheapest brand of sweater they can find or the simplest watch out there. Why not treat him to something a little more luxurious? There's no need to break the bank, there are plenty of higher end, thoughtful gifts that will totally blow him away.

Perhaps it'd be appropriate to gift him a nice work bag, rather than the duffel he's been carrying. Or get him into a new hobby by gifting him his first nice camera. Or perhaps even just some great grooming products for some much deserved self-care? The point is, this Valentine's Day, why don't we make our men feel special and get him something he'll really enjoy.
