Bride Wants Bridesmaids to Wear Color Contacts — So Their Eyes Don’t ‘Clash’ With the Dresses

We all know that one person who takes planning the perfect wedding a little bit too far. She obsesses about "saying yes" to the dream dress, focuses on perfecting the most minute details, and yes, sometimes makes life completely miserable for the people around her. Just take a recent Facebook post about a bride wondering if she could buy her bridesmaids color contacts to match their dresses. Obviously, this is taking things to an extreme, and the Internet certainly didn't hold back with what commenters really thought of her idea.

The picky bride wondered on Facebook if it was asking too much to get all of her blue-eyed bridesmaids to nix their natural eye color for the day in order to match her bright yellow dresses.

If you're part of a bridal party it's normal to expect the bride to make you match the other bridesmaids. But for some people, this anonymous bride's request goes way too far.

The bold bride posted her idea online in a wedding planning group and a fellow member, Gianna, took a screen grab of the gem and shared it on a wedding shaming Facebook page. "How over the top is it to buy my blue-eyed bridesmaids color contacts?" the anonymous bride asked in her original post. "I'm offering to let them select any other color… I just think blue eyes would clash, since one of the wedding colors is chartreuse."

According to the bride, "even a warm amber brown like mine" would suffice.  "I'm NOT afraid of being overshadowed," she added. Whew, thanks for the heads up!

People online were all in agreement: This was extra AF.

Plus, others are calling out her color scheme -- maybe she's the one who needs to get her eyes checked?

Ahem, I think you mean that no eye color goes with chartreuse.

Although perhaps one person who commented summed it up best...
