20 Delicious No-Bake Desserts Perfect for Easter

No-bake recipes aren't just for summer. While it may be less of a problem to heat up the kitchen around the Easter holidays than it is during August, that doesn't mean no-bake options aren't awesome for springtime. We love the simple nature of these recipes — and how completely hard they are to mess up (yeah, we're profoundly not perfect). We're always interested in playing around with a cake recipe, but the truth is, when company is coming for a big Easter dinner, we don't want to deal with baking a cake that morning. A no-bake dessert is the perfect solution — we can make a delicious sweet treat to serve after the maple-glazed ham, and all we have to do on Easter Sunday is pull it straight from the fridge.

Many of these desserts can be made several days in advance, so no matter whether we have company coming to stay for the holiday weekend or we're just having friends and family over for brunch, we'll have all the work done ahead of time when the kids are down, rather than the day everyone is coming, when everything is hectic. Some of these desserts are also easy to dye with regular food coloring, so if a pretty pastel dessert goes with the Easter table decor, it's simple to accomplish. (That said, nobody's going to turn their nose up at any of these if they're not a perfect baby blue — the point is how amazing they taste, after all)!

Some of these are full of fresh fruit flavors, like raspberry and mango, while others are super healthy Paleo option. One even contains some secret avocado — which is basically impossible to even taste, but adds a ton of healthy fat and creamy texture. And for some of us, we don't care what the season is — a dessert without chocolate just isn't dessert. Don't worry, there's plenty of chocolate to go around here, too.
