These Are the 40 Hottest Holiday Toys From Amazon That Kids Are Obsessing Over

Yes, we know that it's still fall, but to the planners out there, that means the holiday season is fast approaching. And with the holiday season comes gifts for the kiddos. Thankfully, Amazon has parents' backs, and the backs of anyone looking to purchase toys soon. The retailer released its 2019 Holiday Toy List (Target did earlier this month) and there are tons of awesome items on there that kids will love. The best part? They're just a few clicks away, instead of having to fight through crowds at stores only to see shelves empty. And Anne Carrihill, category leader of Toys & Games for Amazon.com, says its the company's best list yet.

"Our Top 100 toys and games has been carefully curated by a team of experts to highlight the newest, best-selling and most-talked-about toys. This year's list features more Amazon exclusive toys and games than ever before," she wrote.

"On Amazon's Holiday Toy List, customers can find toys and games for every kid this holiday season, available at low prices and with convenient and free shipping options," she notes.

According to Amazon, the "trends for top toys this year include characters from Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, PJ Masks and Paw Patrol. Lego and Melissa & Doug are always a crowd pleasers, and the unboxing experience remains a top trend with L.O.L. Surprise!, Hairdorables, Blume, and Poopsies. Kids will love Plum the furReal Panda and Blinger. STEM and educational toys are high on both parents’ and kids' lists, including Coding Critters, Educational Insights Artie 3000 – The Coding Robot, Osmo Genius Kit, and Osmo Little Genius Kit."

There are also tons of games and toys that have an academic component. Basically, from stuffed animals to games to cars and dolls, there are toys for every kid's interests and needs.

Amazon has the whole list here, but for 40 of our favorites, see the list we compiled below. Happy playing!
