Fall is fast approaching and everyone knows what comes next: The fall activities, from apple picking to pumpkin patches and more. With the season come changing temperatures, too, and for many that means changing wardrobes. Everyone loves autumn weather for a reason: It's not too hot and not too cold. The fashion is all super cute and looks fantastic on Instagram. And fall sure does have fashion must-haves like footwear (cough, cough, booties and riding boots), to those cute hats, to fall jackets. Now, fall jackets are vital and they do serve a purpose. They're not heavy enough where the wearer will be overheated, but they're still an added layer for when things cool down.
All of this to say: Fall jackets are important. And while it's totally fine to keep wearing one that's tried and true, there are always new ones coming out with new styles and textures. Plus, sometimes it's just time for a new one. The good news: It's actually super fun to pick out a fall jacket, because unlike winter ones, there's much more freedom to show style and more diversity in terms of design. There's grunge and low-key looks from jean jackets to leather biker ones. And there's also classy suede and longer coats. Some are shorter while others hit the thigh area. The best part? They're easy to dress up or down.
The royals, like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, seem to have really amazing fall fashion inspo. But we decided to do some digging on 2019 styles out there now and compile some as well.
