Don’t Know What to Get Mom? These 20 Subscription Boxes Will Keep Giving

Well, folks it's officially December, which means it's holiday time. And the holiday season is inevitably the season of giving and receiving. For some, this is an amazing time if gifting is like a sport of finding just the right items for each person in their lives. Then there are other people who hate giving gifts, not because they don't want to but because there's a whole lot of pressure involved. Either way, gift lists can make this a whole lot easier and that's where we come in. We've done gift lists for stay-at-home moms, new moms, moms who are "crunchy"  and even gift guides for foodies. But this year, we wanted to think of ideas more outside the box, and then it hit us: Subscription boxes. They really are one of the most versatile gift one can give for a few reasons.

For one, subscription boxes are awesome because everyone likes getting mail that they get a little surprise from (in a good way). Boxes can also be literally anything these days, so it can really show how much the gift giver knows a person and tap into her interests and make her feel loved. For example, my mom got me a beauty box for Christmas last year and I felt like it was raining amazing products I have been wanting.

Another perk of a subscription box is that the gift giving is extended for a month up until a year. And the terms are totally controlled by what the purchaser can afford. Which brings us to our next point: boxes are not only customizable by item but by length of time, which is a win for everyone. Tons of them are super affordable (like the beauty box mentioned above was just $25 per month!)

So instead of getting the same old candle or snack basket, think outside the box, well, think in the box. Go with a subscription box! From plants to wine to food there's a box out there for every person.

Psst: If you purchase an item from this post, CafeMom may receive a small cut. Each item and price is up to date at the time of publication; however, an item may be sold out or the price may be different at a later date.
