Target Is Putting Money Back in Moms’ Pockets With This Epic Toy Sale

Target is stacking up the deals on toys so you can create a storybook Christmas morning without going broke. This is a "the more you buy at once, the more you save" situation, and it's worth the effort to gang your purchases, do a little math, and keep more of your money.

You'll save $25 when you spend $100 on toys and games and $10 when you spend $50. And the toys are individually discounted. With all those discounts, it can often require a full cart before you get to the $50 and $100 thresholds. If you have kids, this is a toy sale you don't want to miss.

We break it down for you:

Save 20% on 'Toy Story' toys.

I doubt there is a child alive who doesn't want a Woody doll watching over all the other toys in the toy box. Woody is on sale for $7.19. (Normally $8.99.) No-brainer, right? But if you also buy the Buzz Lightyear Robot, which is also on sale (for a few more hours) for $34.99, normally $49.99, you'll be spending $42.18. You'll have to keep shopping to get to the $50 threshold that nets you $10 off.

So let's add Rex (on sale for $7.99) to the cart. That gets it to just over $50. Made it! Now you will save $10 off the total.

I'll do the math: You get $68.97 worth of toys for about $40.

'Paw Patrol' toys are also on sale.

When you are buying a big toy gift, this sale works even better. For example, all the Paw Patrol toys are on sale at Target. This Paw Patrol Super Mighty Pups Lookout Tower, for example, is on sale for $99. It's over 2 feet tall and includes a working telescope. It will engage a child for hours in imaginative play and be something you can sell when he outgrows it. If you buy the Fire Engine to go with it, you have spent just over $100, which means you'll get $25 off. So you get them both for around $75.

All these games are on sale.

You could get a lifetime of family board game fun in this sale! Dozens of board games are on sale. All the cumulative discounts apply. And there are new spins on classic games you loved when you were a kid. This is gonna be fun!

Ms. Monopoly — which highlights accomplished women who make good money — is $19.99. Candy Land is $5.99. Uno is $4.99.

How many board games will it take you to meet a $50 or $100 threshold to save more money? Maybe that's your entire shopping list?

Little Tikes are on sale.

All the great Little Tikes toys are on sale, so this is the time to get play gear for your littles. This Little Tikes Jump n Slide Dry Bouncer, for example, is on sale for $189.99. And that puts you over the $100 threshold, so you'll get an additional $25 off at checkout.

Get all the bikes in this sale.

This adorable Radio Flyer convertible trike is on sale for $60.20. Add a bike for another child, push the total bill to $100, and you'll save $25 at checkout.
