I was cutting onions during the inauguration, so it might have looked like I was shedding tears of hope, pride, and astonishment at the beautiful poetry Amanda Gorman read to the world, but that wasn't me crying. Maybe you cried, though? And I noticed that a lot of people got a bit of dust in their eyes or had a sudden attack of allergies. That girl is amazing. And I know I'm not the only one who fell in love with her.
If you want more of what that young lady is putting down, or just to express your newfound affection, you can stop watching the inauguration video on a loop and read some of her other works instead. Or put on a shirt that says, "Amanda Gorman!"
She is an amazing talent, and talent needs fans to thrive. So don't hide your fandom!

This gorgeous tee that expresses a love of poetry
Supporting an artist is about being a fan! And fans are all about merchandise that demonstrates their love. Wear a tee and spread the word that poetry is cool.
This T-shirt is beautiful, flattering, and a terrific visual representation of Amanda Gorman's "The Hill We Climb" poem.
Hang that poem on a wall where you can see it daily.
I love this idea of poetry as a visual art. Words are beautiful, too. Why not give them space in your decor? In this collection of prints, the written word is not only easy on the eyes, rendered large and with a simple visual, but you will get a moment of inspiration and hope every time you see this.
This is eight unframed digital prints. Just download them, send them to your local copy shop to print them out, and put them in a frame. Instant art.
Capture the moment and hang it on the wall.
The poem we all listened to on Inauguration Day was beautiful and moving, but it was also a moment in history. The youngest inaugural poet reading about hope for change at a pivotal, volatile — and terrifying — moment in history.
This Etsy artist has rendered that moment in a bright visual work of art. It's a 5-by-7-inch digital print you can download, print, and hang. This would also make a great gift.
