Last year, with several dressy occasions on the calendar, such as holidays, my daughter’s confirmation, and bridal and baby showers, I bought an Amazon jumpsuit that I hoped would see me through them in an easy and stylish way.
And boy, I was not disappointed.
The lightweight chiffon jumpsuit has quickly become my go-to for any dressier occasion and sometimes just because it’s so comfortable to wear. I get more compliments on this simple Amazon jumpsuit than any other outfit I wear, and it has plenty of mom-friendly details like loose sleeves, wide legs, and a tie waist.

This Amazon jumpsuit is made of chiffon, so it is incredibly lightweight and comfortable, making it ideal for warmer months or for indoor events when you know you’ll get overheated. (Hello, hormones!)
The beige color goes with anything and can easily be dressed up or down, but it also comes in five other colors – black, blue, teal, pink and gray – if you prefer a different look. Personally, I have found the beige matches the color shown exactly and it’s been the perfect neutral outfit that really goes with anything.
I’ve had five kids, so my waist is always a tough area for me to dress, which is why I especially love the cinch tie waist on this outfit that provides extra coverage and a more tailored fit. You can tie the knot looser if you need more space or tighten it if you have a smaller waist. The tie coverage is also great if you’re a nursing parent because the top gives easy access for pumping or breastfeeding.
I also love the loose sleeves and wide legs, as it helps me feel comfortable – almost like I’m wearing pajamas – while still providing a structured, polished look.

I admit that at $50, this jumpsuit is a little pricier than I like to buy at Amazon, but it’s been well worth the investment. I’ve worn it countless times, washed it normally, and have had no issues with any wear or tear. In fact, I’ve been impressed by how wrinkle-free it stays with my complete lack of special care. I hang it up after a light dry and have not needed to iron it.
“I washed it, threw it in the dryer for a bit, and put it on a hanger immediately to cool. There were no wrinkles. It came out perfect and ready to wear,” described an Amazon shopper who had the same experience as me.
For reference, I am 5’4″ and about 150 pounds, and I ordered a size large. I have short legs, so the legs are on the longer side for me, but I have not hemmed the pants at all and just embrace the loose, flowy look. I love this jumpsuit so much that even though I wore it last Easter, I am in, in fact, planning to wear it again this year.
The jumpsuit has just under 4 stars on Amazon, and many reviewers report the same findings I have: that it’s super comfortable to wear thanks to the loose fit and lightweight fabric, and it’s flattering.
