I'm not one of those people who really invests in name brands, I truthfully never have been. To me, if I can get something similar at a better price, I'm sold. Some call it cheap, I call it economically savvy.
So when I stumbled across these $20.99 UGG-like house slippers on Amazon, I was immediately intrigued.
I threw caution to the wind (with big feet like mine, a size 11, shoe buying is always a crapshoot) and added them to my cart. And let me tell you, I am so happy I did. Not only are they pretty dang adorable, they are comfy, and have solved a major problem for me when it comes to slippers.
Shoes, be they slippers or a nice pair of dress flats, are really a hit-or-miss endeavor for me.
I do not have dainty feet. I've never been the woman who can rock strappy set of heels, my feet are big (size 11), wide, and generally make me insanely klutzy. So typically affordable footwear isn't an option. But when I ordered these, with a size range from 10-11, I genuinely was surprised that they fit like a glove.
I slipped them on and my feet immediately felt like they were on little heavenly clouds.
The sole was nice and sturdy and provided me support. The band wasn't too tight on my feet (I can wear these with socks) and they fit securely enough with the back elastic strap so I am not tripping over these fluffy beauties.
Because my husband is a hater, he looked at them as flatly asked, "Why do your slippers have open toes? Aren't you freezing? That's stupid."
After resisting the urge to take off my perfect angel slippers and bonk him on the head, I informed him "NO, in fact they are just the right amount of toasty warm."
And I meant it. With the extra airflow, my sweaty feet aren't soaking my slippers rendering them smelly and useless within two weeks.
So whether you're treating yourself or looking for a nice gift add on, I cannot recommend these fluffy cuties any more.
Fun, functional, and affordable. Can't ask for much more than that. They have designs that range from pastel tie-dye to my grey solid ones, and come is size 5/6 to 10/11. If you have the $20 to spare and want to be cozy, I highly recommend giving these a shot.
