It’s the “kiss cam” that was heard around the world. Or, rather, seen on the internet everywhere. But still, if you haven’t seen the kiss cam footage from the July 16, 2025, Coldplay concert, a couple immediately tried to duck out of view as soon as the camera settled on them cuddled up together while Chris Martin crooned from the stage.
Immediately following the now-viral video, people wanted to know who the couple was. Because Chris is heard in the footage wondering if the couple is “having an affair” and cheating on their spouses because of their behavior, some grabbed onto that theory to explain why the pair didn’t want to be seen on the kiss cam. Luckily, the internet did its thing and the people were identified, but not before the jig was most definitely up.

According to the New York Post, the names of the dodgy couple caught on the kiss cam at the Coldplay concert are Andy Byron, the CEO of a data company called Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, an HR executive for the same company. Something tells us that this little pairing violates some kind of moral clause that an HR specialist should know about. Maybe that’s why, as soon as they realize they are on the kiss cam, Andy ducks for cover and Kristin attempts to do the same.
But is the couple guilty of having an affair and being caught at a Coldplay concert? According to Newsweek, Andy is married to a woman by the name of Megan Kerrigan Byron. And before you go thinking they might be separated, the magazine reported that they also live together. Per a thread on X (formerly Twitter) about the incident, Kristin is married too.
Likely because of the scrutiny surrounding being potentially busted at the concert, neither Andy nor Kristin has public social media accounts that can be accessed at the moment. It also looks like Andy’s LinkedIn profile has been deactivated or taken down for now. That’s also the case for Kristin’s profile on LinkedIn. Before it was deleted in the wake of the controversy, however, comments under her post ranged from continuous LOL’s to jokes about being caught at the Coldplay concert.
People are waiting for Coldplay to talk about the kiss cam couple.

Because the story behind the kiss cam couple at the Coldplay concert (say that five times fast) appears to be what most people expected, many are waiting for anyone from Coldplay to chime in about it. So far, no one has, but when the band shared photos on Instagram from the Boston concert where the kiss cam moment went down, fans commented to urge the band to share thoughts on what happened.
“Where’s the pic of the affair?” one fan commented on Instagram.
Another chimed in, “We’re all here because of the affair.”
When someone joked about “anything else” happening at the show, one fan replied to them to joke, “This affair was the best thing that ever happened to Chris Martin.” And honestly, they aren’t totally wrong.
