ColourPop Made An Official Disney Villains Collection That Looks Wicked Good

ColourPop and Disney are coming hard for our coins with their latest makeup collaboration, beauty lovers! The brand finally unveiled every single product in its nostalgic Disney Villains collection, and we cannot stop swooning over this glam nod to some of the wicked characters we all love to root against.

This collection is a refreshing follow-up to previously announced Disney collaborations with brands such as Dose Of Colors, Spectrum Collections, and most recently MAC Cosmetics Aladdin collection.

Ulta first teased this Disney Villains collection in a print catalog sent out to its customers earlier in March.

"OOOOOOMMMGGG!!!! NEW #Collaboration !!!!! And round [with]  #colourpopcosmetics X @disney. The #VillainsCollection," Trendmood wrote online.

Per the Ulta catalog, the limited-edition collection would include sets, lipsticks, glosses, highlighters, and the colorful palette pictured.

Just two days ago, ColourPop stirred the pot even more with a brief and vague Instagram video.

The video displayed a simple message: "It feels so good to be bad." ColourPop also provided an official March 21 release date in its caption.

Of course, fans who had already learned about the sneak preview in the catalog immediately suspected that the announcement was for the Disney Villains collection.

But ColourPop couldn't resist building up the anticipation a little more before all of the products were officially unveiled.

The brand released this cool visual as more confirmation of what fans already knew. Fans went collectively nuts in the Instagram comments.

The ColourPop Cult fan page on Instagram also shared a sneak peek of what appears to be the official Disney Villains PR package.

"FYI: there’s so much [redacted] on this collection. Y’all gonna lose your [minds]," the account moderator shared. Clearly, ColourPop is on a mission to outdo itself with this release.

And now the brand has unveiled every single product in the collection!

The collection caters to six of the most famous Disney villains. The lineup includes products inspired by Dr. Facilier (The Princess and the Frog), Cruella (101 Dalmatians), Hades (Hercules), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), and Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs).

Each Villains set includes a lip gloss, lipstick, a jelly eye shadow, and highlighter!

Check out how GORGEOUS the Ursula products look. Yes for this presentation, ColourPop! As a huge fan of the greatest sea witch of all time (still waiting for that Disney film that focuses on her backstory), I want every single product in this lineup just for the packaging alone!

ColourPop made this Disney collection extra fun in terms of packaging, but the actual products also seem to be solid.

ColourPop added new colors dedicated to the villains in its existing Lux lipstick collection. The Disney Villains lipsticks feature a solid range of reds, pinks, and purples for the Disney Villains lipsticks. There are four cream finishes and two mattes.

If you're not a lipstick lover, then you still get to enjoy the Disney Villain fun!

Per these wrist swatches, the lip glosses actually look a bit sheer. Let's hope that formula is buildable without feeling too sticky.

And it wouldn't be a true Disney Villains party without the appropriate amount of glitz and sparkle!

We're not doing boring eyes this spring and summer if ColourPop and Disney have anything to do with it! The brand created six Super Shock eye shadows with a glitzy metallic finish.

Check out how seriously pigmented the eye shadows are.

Giving someone the evil eye has really never been so glam! Shades from top to bottom are Cursed, I Own You, Not Today, Perfectly Wretched, Spindle, and Just Your Voice.

The Super Shock highlights in the collection are also sparkly yet buildable.

I love that all of these Super Shock shadows are just a little sheer so that you can build up the product to get the perfect amount of color. The majority of the shades also seem to suit deeper skin tones, which is a plus.

And OF COURSE the people will finally be able to get their hands on the Misunderstood eye shadow palette ($22, Ulta).

The palette has 15 shades in a mix of different finishes including mattes, color-shifting duo chromes, and rich metallics! It was only right that each shade have a cute name inspired by the villains spotlighted in the collection. The cutest names? No Spots, 101, Devious, and Revenge!

According to the official ColourPop Cosmetics YouTube review, Disney was most passionate and particular about the Glitterly Obsessed pots.

“They had a very clear vision that they wanted one to be blue," ColourPop ambassador Jordyn Wynn shared during the swatch video.

"They were very specific with a blue duo-chrome, like, ocean-y vibes. They wanted everything to have a ton of shift and dimension because they felt like these really portrayed the character of the villain.”
