Demi Lovato’s Hair Evolution: All The Colors The Singer Has Tried

Demi Lovato just changed up her hair color for the first time in what seems like ages, but she definitely has experimented in the past.

The body-positive queen has made headlines recently regarding her relationship status with a potential suitor from the latest season of The Bachelorette. The singer is also reportedly working on new music and keeping up with her mental health by staying close to friends and family.

This trip down memory lane is sometimes a sad one when thinking about Lovato's history with mental health issues and drug addiction, but she has made it out stronger than ever and currently seems to be in a good place.

The singer recently changed up her dark brunette hair with neon green tips.

After months of a standard brunette hair color, Lovato switched it up with a dip dye. Some think she was inspired by Billie Eilish who is also sporting the lime green shade, but at her roots as opposed to the ends. Either way, the fun shake-up is a cool look for the "Confident" singer.

Since the end of 2018, Lovato has had a short, sleek bob.

When Lovato popped back up on Instagram at the end of 2018, she had her standard shoulder-length chop in a dark brunette shade. She shared these Polaroid photos looking cool and classic while showing off her many arm tattoos and wearing tiny sunglasses. This is the Demi Lovato that we most easily recognize now.

In 2017, Lovato had long mermaid locks in her signature dark brown color.

An unfortunate angle and bad lighting marked the start of the meme "Poot Lovato," something of an alter ego for the "Skyscraper" singer. While she didn't appreciate the ridicule at first, Lovato learned to laugh about the bad picture. Clearly, she was a fan of the shaved head style, as it stuck around for most of 2014.
