Rap legend Sean "P. Diddy" Combs celebrated his 50th birthday on Friday, and the party was as star-studded as the Met Gala — and as glamorous.
A-list invites included everyone in the hip-hop world, plus mega-celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Beyoncé, and the Kardashians. Everyone's style was absolutely on point at the fancy affair, plus it looked like an all-around good time. Friends in the entertainment and music industry were dancing together and posing for pictures. The event was so important that Vanity Fair implemented a portrait series of each of the famous figures in attendance.
The established rapper is well connected in the hip-hop world, so it was no surprise that everyone there would be, too. Janelle Monae, Cardi B, Offset, Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, Pharrell, Kanye West, and so many more artists were there. And each of them looked better than the next.
Jhene Aiko and Big Sean were one of the cutest couples of the evening.
Saturday night's soirée featured some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, and everyone stepped out in their most glamorous attire. Jhene Aiko's on-again, off-again boyfriend, rapper Big Sean, looked cool in his sunglasses, while Aiko looked stunning in a black mini dress. Other big name artists at the party included Leonardo DiCaprio, Post Malone, Dr. Dre, among so many more.
Janelle Monae looked like an absolute queen.
Monáe was a vision in a sequined black-and-white, floor-length gown. The geometric style and matching earrings were so chic on the actor and singer. The star posed with fellow actor Regina King who wore a fun and colorful plaid suit with gold embellishments.
Kim Kardashian West was looking snatched; I wonder how many pairs of Skims shapewear she's wearing.
Kim Kardashian West's ensemble featured her tiny waist. The reality star was glowing in the champagne gold, off-the-shoulder dress. Her husband, Kanye, looked handsome too in his classic suit.
Kylie Jenner and her sister Khloé Kardashian attended together, but Jenner had another surprise guest.
The stunning sisters wore outfits with plunging necklines and sported matching blunt bobs. Koko was a vision in her sparkling silver suit, while Kylie looked fierce in her black gown. Kylie's surprise guest was none other than her sister Kendall's rumored boyfriend Fai Khadra. Kendall joked in the comments of her sister's post, "Are we fighting?"
Cardi B and Offset were a match made in heaven.
The rappers were wearing all black in their Vanity Fair portraits from the event. "Ladies and gentlemen, Cardi B and Offset," the magazine captioned its post. Cardi B's gown featured oversized sleeves and a massive bow that accentuated her waist and derriere.
Beyoncé won the night, as always.
One of the most famous guests in attendance was, of course, Beyoncé. The superstar was having a blast among friends, and partied it up on the dance floor wearing her gorgeous black embellished gown. The artist accessorized with emerald jewelry, and styled her hair in a classic old Hollywood way. As Queen Bey danced with Kelly Rowland and Saweetie, Jay Z played the part of bodyguard and snatched up someone's phone as they were filming them.
Snoop Dogg sported a massive fur coat, and is crowned the most extra attendee of the night.
Among the hip-hop royalty at Diddy's 50th, Snoop Dogg looked the most extra. The rap icon's suit featured fur trim and looked over-the-top glam. "Weekend vibe, courtesy of @snoopdogg at @diddy's 50th birthday party," Vanity Fair captioned its post of the artist.
Lizzo stopped by, and slayed as per usual.
Just ahead of her dream-come-true Madison Square Garden performance for iHeart Radio's Jingle Ball, Lizzo celebrated P. Diddy. The musician was wearing a glittery black gown that fell off of her shoulders. The artist pulled her wavy black hair into a skyhigh ponytail, and looked like the queen that she is.
The legendary Mary J. Blige stepped out in a stunning gown.
Hugging all of her curves perfectly, Mary J. Blige's gown looked perfect on the singer. The R&B icon shouted out her "brother" Diddy in her Instagram caption. "About last night….. A party so DOPE that I wished it never ended. Happy 50th to my big brother @diddy. You really know how to do it and it’s always a blast with you."
And, of course, happy 50th birthday to the man of the hour, P.Diddy!
Diddy shared a photo with four of the kings of hip-hop, Pharrell, Kanye West, Jay Z, and himself. The Diddy 50 bash was definitely one to remember, and an enviable event for everyone who missed it. Diddy sported a silver jacket to stand out among the crowd of incredibly talented artists and celebrities.
