Disney Superfan Will Get Her ‘Dream Come True’ After Postponing Wedding for 2 Years

What bride doesn’t want her most magical wedding dreams to come true? Many women fantasize about their Prince Charming and happily ever after until the moment their special day actually happens. For some women, that day turns out even more incredible than they could have ever imagined.

Morgan Newcomer is a Disney superfan planning a magical day that so many princesses would love, and it’s all because she decided to enter the Good Morning America World’s Most Magical Wedding Dress Sweepstakes. After postponing her wedding celebration because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Morgan learned she had won the content, and now, she and her groom will get to live out their ultimate Disney dream wedding.

Morgan was a COVID-19 bride.

Morgan and her husband, Bryce, had wedding plans that were quickly thwarted because of the pandemic, and they are just now getting the chance to celebrate properly. The two were legally married in 2020 even though they couldn’t host a celebration to enjoy with their friends and family because Bryce is in the Army and time was of the essence.

Earlier this year, Morgan entered the Good Morning America contest, and she found out back in April that she had won and will get to have the wedding celebration of a lifetime at the Disney Wedding Pavilion this December.

Morgan celebrated her bachelorette party at Disney World in May.

Not only will Morgan and her husband get a dream wedding reception later this year, but in May, she kicked off the celebration at Epcot with a bachelorette party like no other. According to Good Morning America, she and four of her close friends celebrated together, exploring the world showcase.

They took in the sights and the tastes of Morgan’s favorite destination, France, and experienced the topiaries during the Flower and Garden Festival. The ladies also took time to visit Magic Kingdom and to meet Belle of Beauty and the Beast outside her castle.

“It’s her dream come true!” Morgan’s friend Brigette Shelton told the morning show.

Morgan gushed about the incredible experience.

Morgan took to Instagram to document the once-in-a-lifetime adventure. She said that she still couldn’t believe that it was real and was so thrilled to be able to share it with those closest to her.

“Seeing the Disney magic in my friend’s eyes as they experienced Disney for the first time and finally saw why Disney is Bryce and I’s happy place is something I can’t put into words! You all are real-life fairy godmothers and magic makers,” she posted.

Her dress will be fit for a princess.

Morgan’s wedding gown will be something out of a fairy tale. She received a one-of-a-kind creation inspired by Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration, which is going on now.

She had a dress consultation with Nikki Deeds from Allure Bridals and Franck’s Bridal Studio. And, of course, because no princess ensemble would be complete without accessories such as a tiara and jewelry, Morgan got to pick those out too.

Morgan is a true Disney nut.

A quick scroll through her Instagram, and you can see just how much Morgan loves Disney. She and Bryce have traveled there frequently as a couple. The two met on a dating app and were engaged nine months later. The pair drove to Disney World six times when Bryce was living in Georgia.

“I love that Bryce will always match with me when we go to the parks if I ask him to,” Morgan told Good Morning America.

Not everyone was thrilled for Morgan.

Sadly, not everyone shared in Morgan’s joy. Some naysayers felt it wasn’t fair that she won the wedding because she was already technically married. She had a message for all of the haters.

“I’m sorry…I never thought there would be so many angry people that I was upfront about being married already. We are married due to my husband being in the Army and COVID postponing our 2020 Disney wedding,” she explained on Instagram.

“So, yes, we are married, but it was still heartbreaking to postpone our 2020 Disney wedding and our chance to celebrate with everyone we love and adore, which is why we are so excited to be having our December 4th, 2022 Disney wedding, finally! I pray that all of you get your happily ever after,” she shared.

The wedding is less than two months away.

Morgan and Bryce will celebrate their nuptials in December and are busy putting the final touches on their dream wedding. Morgan’s excitement is contagious. She recently posted a sneak peek into her engagement photo shoot.

“So I’m shamelessly going to be sharing once a week with a wedding countdown. Sorry, not sorry. FIFTY DAYS UNTIL OUR DISNEY WEDDING!”

After the wedding, Morgan and Bryce will get to enjoy a five-night stay at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii, for their honeymoon. What an incredible way to continue the long-awaited festivities!
