This DIY peel-off mask will help you get rid of blackheads

Social media has brought us some crazy stuff — 100 layers of foundation, galaxy freckles, the list goes on…

The latest Instagram obsession? Oh-so-satisfying peel-off face masks. While Origins and Boscia make excellent peel-off masks, a DIY is the way to go if your money low.

You only need two ingredients: egg whites and charcoal.

First, separate two egg whites in two separate bowls.

Egg whites have firming, tightening effects on the skin.

Mix one of the egg whites with one capsule of activated charcoal.

Activated charcoal is a natural way to expel impurities.

...and quickly apply sheets of tissue paper overtop.

Now spread on the mixture of egg white and charcoal.

Applying the charcoal to your bare skin would be too harsh. Plus, without the tissue you wouldn't be able to *peel* it off.

Allow the mask to dry, take copious selfies (duh).

Yas dirt, come off!

A quick rinse and you're golden.
