So when Dylan Sprouse was spotted out-and-about with bright blue hair, we were both equal parts surprised and confused — and we weren't the only ones. Fans have just as many questions as we do, and they're making it known.
But we may have an explanation for this drastic hair change, and it's something we think you'll be very happy about.

Dylan Sprouse officially has bright blue hair, and it's shaved. The former TV star turned meadery owner is sporting a brand-new look these days, and it's causing quite the stir. Pictured out at dinner with Riverdale star Hart Denton, girlfriend Barbara Palvin, and brother Cole Sprouse, Dylan sat smack in the middle with a buzzed 'do with color that's giving us Violet Beauregarde vibes.

On the bright side, at least we can easily tell the brothers apart now.
Though our growing familiarity with the twins has gotten better over time, this new hair color is a surefire way for us to be able to tell who's who. All we need is for Cole to keep his Jughead hair.

We must admit, blue is quite an interesting hair choice, especially for the notably more low key and chill twin. But hey, it's summer and everyone is looking for a change. So if that means a fresh buzz and outlandish hair color, we're all for it… even if it resembles a frozen treat.
