Jaclyn Hill Deleted All Of Her Personal Social Media Accounts Amid Lipstick Drama

For the past month, Jaclyn Hill's mentions on Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat have been inundated with angry fans and skeptical critics who had questions, comments, and concerns about her recent lipstick launch. It's seemed like every single day, someone new is reporting disturbing lab reports, digging up old videos to prove Hill knowingly went forward with the release, and revealing intimate details that incriminate her even further.

Clearly fed up with it all, Hill has deleted all of her personal social media accounts, and people are freaking out about it.

In a strange turn of events, Jaclyn Hill has deleted her Twitter account.

That's right, the platform that Hill has used for years to interact with fans far and wide is gone. The discovery was made in the wee hours of Thursday morning after fans and critics who attempted to chat with Hill found that the account had vanished. There was no warning tweet before, and the erasure was surely sudden.

Her Instagram is also depleted.

Not long after the Twitter discovery, fans realized that her Instagram account had also disappeared. Her almost 1,500 photos are no longer viewable, and it has people wondering what in the world is happening. However, her brand Instagram for Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics is still standing, at least for now.

This comes just one day after she was blasted by Makeup Geek founder Marlena Stell.

Stell alleged that Hill knew about previous bad practices of the JHC manufacturer years ago in 2016, and she claimed that she's never seen white gloves being used.

Before deleting her Twitter, Hill responded to criticism saying, "I do not lab with the facility she referred to. I left them a long time ago. She doesn't know the back end of my brand."

Social media isn't happy about her ghosting.

"@Jaclynhill just deleted her Instagram and Twitter. Girl in case you see this please have in mind that you’re not just an influencer any more. You’re a CEO of a freaking company that sold possibly contaminated products. Going radio silent it’s completely unprofessional," someone said, noting that yet again, she's run away from making things right with her fans.

Twitter thinks she's playing the victim.

People went as far as to say that Hill is "spineless."

"So, Jaclyn has now deleted her instagram and twitter because sis only knows how to play victim and how not to take responsibility for her actions. smh. Might as well call her Jelly-Jacklyn because girl has no spine," someone tweeted.

But others think social media has been too cruel, causing a decline in Hill's mental health.

And while Hill has surely been unacceptably silent, there truly is only so much one human can take.

"THIS! Omg thanks for this video about Jaclyn Hill! I've seen how ppl have attacked her fans and ya'll are vicious AF! I mean alot of these ppl attacking Jaclyn and her fans say they never like her/cared for her yet you spend alot of energy on her," a fan emphasized.

So was this a matter of needing to isolate herself from the negativity, or was this damage control?

Many think that the erasure of the accounts was a way to eliminate proof of her allegedly knowing about her lipstick defects prior to her brand launch.

"Jaclyn Hill also needs to hide all the proof that her lipsticks are years old. All those tweets about her working on her lipsticks thru the years would be used against her. She is such a con artist I can’t believe she deleted her social media," someone noted.

And while nobody knows the answer yet, we're sending well wishes Hill's way and hope she can get this right.
