Boy, oh boy, can Jaclyn Hill catch a break? Just when it seemed like the drama-filled releases were a thing of the past, here comes someone to mess it up. This time, it's all because someone behind the scenes may have actually mailed out her upcoming Morphe eye shadow palette release before it was announced.
Well, one lucky makeup lover got hers before the rest, and we're sure Hill is anything but happy.
Of course, Jaclyn Hill has collaborated with Morphe before.
As one of the foremost beauty YouTubers, it's almost a given that Hill would join the ranks of those who created a palette or brush collection with the cosmetics brand. The first was that iconic palette that just about everyone loves for its universal colors and smooth color payoff.
And she may be doing it again.
And you'll never guess how the world just found out. After a Morphe fan ordered what she thought would be a normal palette, she got something that appeared to be a Hill collab instead. And it wasn't the first one. "@Jaclynhill not sure if this palette is from your past collab with Morphe? Or did I just get ripped off #jaclynhill #morphexjaclynhill," she tweeted.
The young lady made it clear that she is not an influencer.
After being inundated with comments where people asked if it was a PR package, she was quick to clarify. "Y’all this palette was not sent to me in PR nothing like that," she insisted. "I bought it on offer up last night. I knew she had a palette already with Morphe, but I [had] seen this one and thought it would be a knockoff."
And it's looking more likely than not.
After doing some digging, it looks like the upcoming palette, along with shade names and prices, is already living on the Ulta website, which more than likely means that the palette is coming extremely soon. "I don’t think it’s fake," someone under the thread insisted.
Well, until then, the first Morphe X Jaclyn Hill palette is ready for purchase.
"This is not your average palette," the brand says of the palette. "That’d be boring. We (and most importantly, Jaclyn Hill) don’t do boring. This palette is a two-year love affair." Get those 35 must-have eye shadow shades ASAP.
