If you think the race to the White House is intense, you clearly haven't been keeping tabs on the glorious meme battle between two LaCroix seltzer flavors — Pamplemousse (grapefruit) and Coconut — on Facebook.
It all started with a single Facebook page dedicated to Pamplemousse LaCroix memes.
#TeamPamplemousse knew their shit was good.
TOO good.
The grapefruit-flavored drink was exhibiting Kanye-level confidence.
Then #TeamCoconut stepped in and basically declared war on Pamplemousse.
And thus, the meme battle between LaCroix Pamplemousse and La Croix Coconut began.
Let me just say, the politics surrounding seltzer is intense.
The commentary gets HEATED.
#TeamPamplemousse insists Coconut tastes like straight up sunscreen.
But Coconut is quick with the comebacks.
The shade is endless.
No pop culture stone will be left unturned.
Pamplemousse is definitely showing confidence in battle.
But which seltzer will take the other flavor down once and for all?
It's a close call as the meme battle continues.
