YouTube fans have been pretty excited lately about some recent eye shadow palette launches. James Charles dropped his Morphe Mini Collection last week, Tati Westbrook is dropping her first self-titled palette on Friday, October 25, and Jeffree Star is finally releasing his highly anticipated Shane Dawson collab on November 1. Sounds like pretty good news for eye shadow lovers, right? Well, Twitter is speculating that the extremely close proximities of the releases are the exact reason for the brewing feud between Westbrook and Star.Ā
The reasoning seems pretty believable and has everyone wondering if Dramageddon part two is on the horizon.
There's been some serious trouble in paradise for Jeffree Star and Tati Westbrook.
The two, who had previously appeared to be extremely supportive of one another, kicked off speculation that their union was soiled a few months back. After rumor after rumor swirled, fans think they've finally figured out the real reason ā and it has everything to do with palettes.
As we all know, Westbrook is dropping her makeup line, Tati Beauty, to the public on Friday, October 25. The first product of the brand will be a vibrant 24-shade palette. However, Star also has a launch coming with Shane Dawson.
Fans put on their investigative hats and got to the bottom of it. "Oh, so Jeffree and Tati fell out because Jeffree wouldnāt move the date of the Shane collab away from the launch of Tati Beauty ā¦ now we know," one true tea aficionado wrote on Twitter.
The Sleep Paralysis palette launches just five days after Tati Beauty's debut palette.
"Thereās a few shades I havenāt shown in the series yet. This is shade 'Sleep Paralysis,'" Dawson recently posted on his Twitter teasing more colors.Ā
"I canāt wait for the world to see the #Conspiracy palette 11.1.19 #ShanexJeffree," Star responded revealing the launch date.
Many think that Star waited to reveal the date on purpose to spite Westbrook. However, fans think that Westbrook did the same thing to James Charles.
"Jeffree and Shane were waiting for Tati to drop her launch date so they could post episode 4 and drop their date too. And she waited until JC announced his release date for the mini palette ā¦ shit is about to go down with those [four]," someone wrote on Twitter.
Don't tell us that we're about to see Dramageddon Part Two!
Our heads are already spinning with the recent tea, and we're not sure we can keep up anymore. With Westbrook, Star, and Charles dropping eye shadow palettes so close to one another, some fans are going to have to make some hard decisions on who to support. Who knew that makeup could end up like the Hunger Games.Ā
We'll see how this plays out.
