Being the mom of two teenage daughters isn’t always easy, but it has come with an unexpected perk: getting the chance to occasionally share clothes.
Typically, this comes in the form of my daughters stealing my clothes, of course, but once in a while, I can manage to squeeze into something they own. Or, even more often, I will admire something they like and adapt it to my own mom style.
One of my favorite comfy and cozy looks I adopted from my teen daughters has been this Lululemon-inspired pullover. They own it in both blue and gray, and after borrowing it for the weekend, I picked up my own version in the dark pink color.
It’s the perfect shirt for busy sports weekends, grocery shopping, working from home, and even lounging.

Made of a 50% cotton blend, this half-zip sweatshirt mimics the look of Lululemon’s popular pullover, and I can confirm it stands up to the unique challenge of being both soft on the side and holding its structure on the outside for that stand-up collar look.
The front kangaroo pocket is perfectly cozy, and the thumb holes on the sleeves add to the cozy factor as well, especially if you’re donning this sweatshirt on chilly mornings.
I own the “dark pink” color, and although I’ve worn it all winter long, it also has enough of a pastel pink shade to make it ideal for warmer months too. I ordered a size large, but the fit is a bit oversized, so the medium fits me equally as well. The one caveat is that I prefer the larger size for the added length, as my mom pouch doesn’t do well with more cropped styles, so additional coverage helps me feel more comfortable.
Even with a slightly cropped length, however, the fit of this sweatshirt is incredibly flattering. It’s smooth in the right places and provides a streamlined look that goes with leggings, jeans, or athletic pants.
