YouTubers Are Going To The Worst-Rated Makeup Artists And The Results Are Hilarious

YouTube and Instagram have spoiled us with endless amounts of tremendously talented makeup artists — so much so that we forget that not all makeup artists are as qualified at their craft. However, dozens of beauty YouTubers are trying a new challenge to give us all quite a vivid reminder. They're spending their hard-earned money and visiting the worst-rated makeup artists all around the world.

From poorly matched foundation to unblended eye shadow to falsies placed in the middle of the eyelid, these experiences will have you grimacing at your computer screen.

New York:

YouTuber Jada Hamilton went to one of New York's worst-rated makeup artists, and needless to say, it didn't go well. After the MUA made Hamilton look like a literal clown with unblended blue eye shadow and an unlined, uneven red lip, she then attempted to charge her $180 for the service. Of course, an argument ensued.

United Arab Emirates:

YouTuber Diva Dee took a trip to one of the UAE's worst makeup artists and left with an over-the-top theatrical look that she surely didn't ask for. After applying foundation and powder that were about two shades too light and a harsh pink blush that wasn't blended at all, the look ended up giving off unintentional '80s vibes.

London:

Clearly a tell-tale sign of a bad MUA is the inability to shade match foundation. Beauty vlogger Ropo Demure learned that the hard way when a London makeup artist applied a base that was at least five to eight shades lighter than Demure's skin tone. Even funnier, the artist contoured with what appeared to be an eyeliner pencil and was overjoyed with the atrocious finished look.

Orlando:

Looks like Florida has a lot more problems than alligators and conservatives. YouTuber Alesya Rida may go down as having the worst eye shadow job we've ever seen. From the cut crease that looked like a murky mess to the bronzing that made her look like she had gotten a tan from Trump's spray-tan artist, the look was an absolute mess.

Nigeria:

We'd hoped that the age of creating one singular eyebrow just to separate it with concealer for a harsh and dark look has passed, but clearly it hasn't. When this Lagos influencer went to get her makeup done by one of Africa's worst-rated artists, the result included nothing but bad flashback and unblended colorful shadows.

Southall, England:

This UK-based MUA has us feeling like we've seen a ghost. Headed to an engagement party, one YouTuber left her family in literal tears after they saw her in this beat that looked like it belonged in a circus.

Wisconsin:

We were so hurt that such a nice MUA was lacking such skills. YouTuber Kirah Ominiqué visited a local mall for her less-than-desirable makeup look and took a trip around the city to show it off. When she arrived to her hair appointment, her hair stylist greeted her by saying, "You look like an old lady at a circus."

Yikes.
