The show, which proved to be the highlight of Paris Fashion Week, unveiled a collaboration with the superstar and fashion icon that's inspired by the '70s and '80s.
"Tommy Hilfiger and Zendaya join forces to create a capsule collection that celebrates inclusivity, individuality and empowerment — featuring effortlessly elegant styles cut to a curve-flattering fit," the brand said in a statement.
The star-studded show was basically a party and one big celebration of black women.
Each model, a black woman, strutted down the runway in flared pantsuits, dresses, and pleated leather skirts. Icons such as Grace Jones, Pat Cleveland, and Tyra Banks took the stage as Zendaya paid homage to powerful women of color who came before her.
Afros and black girl magic took over the runway.
The overwhelming amount of natural hair and melanin made the show the most-talked about presentation in France last week. In a year full of fashion mishaps, and brands pandering to black women, this was a breath of fresh air.
Even better, the spectacular fashions range from size 0 to size 22.
