When you get married, you usually feel secure in your relationship with the person you’re marrying. But sometimes, something shocking will happen, and you will realize that the person you married isn’t who you thought they were. TikToker Ashley Wagy has recently shared a series of videos revealing how her life changed in a matter of hours after the FBI showed up at her home seemingly out of nowhere. Soon, she learned that her husband had been engaging in shocking online behavior.
In the first video, Wagy began telling the story of how she learned about her husband’s secret. At 6 a.m. on April 30, 2025, FBI officers quite literally busted into the home she shared with her husband and their two children. Agents broke windows and used flash bombs to wake up the family.
“We had just moved into the house two days prior. I thought maybe there was something about the house, the previous owner. Like, I didn’t know what was going on. I had no idea,” she explains in the clip.
Officers separated the family after forcing them outside. Wagy explained that they began asking her a lot of vague questions about her husband’s online activity and changes in behavior. Slowly, she began to realize her husband had been engaging in online activity that involved minors. Wagy was completely blindsided by the revelation and was shocked by what she was learning.
She couldn’t believe that she hadn’t realized what was going on, but FBI agents assured her that he’d covered his tracks well. They had to go through everything in the home for evidence, however, which affected her and her children on various levels.
“They took all of our computers,” she said in the video. “They took my computer; they took my oldest child’s computer.”
After FBI agents left a few hours later, Wagy was left with nothing and had to figure out what to do next.
@ashley_wagy I only posted this video because this whole situation has deeply humbled me. no relationship is garenteed. No future is set in stone and you have to protect yourself first. If I had been smarter I wouldn't be in this dire situation and maybe it would feel so bleak. Linktree in my bio. #singlemom #divorce #foreclosure #predator #blindsided ♬ original sound – The Ashylum
“On that day, he lost his job, obviously. He has not been back to the home since, and now, he is in jail,” she shared.
At the end of the video, she emotionally revealed that she was sharing her story in an attempt to save other women from a similar fate. Because her husband had been the primary earner in their home, she was left struggling after his arrest. She continuously called herself “stupid” for letting herself rely solely on her husband but also shared that it was “painful” for her to learn about the deception.
Wagy shared a follow-up video to give more details about what had happened in the hours and days following the FBI raid.
She explained that FBI agents took her younger child to school to maintain “normalcy” while she and her older child were questioned and had their electronics searched. They got their phones back but not their computers. After getting her phone, Wagy called her best friend, who immediately came to her house to help.
Because of the nature of her husband’s crimes, both of Wagy’s children had to be questioned. Agents escorted them to the CPS office so they wouldn’t try to skip the questioning. While her children were being questioned, Wagy was fielding calls from multiple people. She said she talked to her husband, but he was purposely vague and didn’t tell her anything about why he’d been arrested.
After a few hours, agents came in to speak with Wagy. It was then that she began to learn the full scope of her husband’s crimes. She admitted to being so “overwhelmed” that she basically shut down and stopped listening. Her best friend began fielding calls and taking notes, saying she was acting as Wagy’s “brain.”
Ashley Wagy has not spoken to her husband since finding out what he did. They are still married “on paper,” but she made it clear that their marriage was over. She also shared that she’s in therapy and has been diagnosed with PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Her husband is still in jail awaiting trial. Because everything was in her husband’s name, Wagy is struggling to make ends meet and provide for her family. She has started a GoFundMe account to help.
