Mom Details ‘Disturbing’ Flight When Drunk Man Wasn’t Wearing Pants & Flashed Her & Her Toddler

A mom is sharing the details of a horrifying experience she had while flying with her family. They were on a Delta Airlines international flight, and it seems that the family was flying first class. When you’re flying first class, you expect a certain type of decorum from the other passengers. But that’s not what she experienced.

Another passenger on the flight did something that no one would have anticipated. He got drunk, which is bad enough on a long flight. But then, his drunken activity led to him exposing himself. The woman believes that it may not have been unintentional, and now, she’s speaking up.

The woman initially shared the story on Reddit.

She posted about the experience in the r/Delta forum, tagging the post “NSFW.” She was flying with her husband and their 15-month-old from Atlanta to Tokyo. Her friend was also traveling with a toddler. “A seemingly normal older man was in the pod across from me,” she observed.

Over the first few hours of the flight, she noticed that the man had his wine glass refilled “nearly 6 or 7 times.”

Things changed halfway through the flight.

The woman got up to change her daughter’s diaper halfway through the flight. “When I stood up, I felt a hand on my butt. I glanced at the man and thought maybe it was an accident and kept moving,” she wrote. After changing the diaper, she handed the toddler back to her husband, and went to the bathroom herself.

“I came back to my seat and my husband was sitting there looking like he had seen a ghost. He asked me ‘how long has he been like that??'”

When she looked over at the man, he was only wearing a T-shirt. “His stomach was uncovered and his penis was completely out,” she wrote. She shut herself into the pod, alerting a flight attendant. “Over the course of the next hour, flight attendants came back to yell at him and asked him to put his pants on but he did not comply. At one point he had his hand on his penis and it was clear he was intoxicated,” she wrote.

“My husband was furious that this man not only was exposing himself in front of us, but also our daughter,” she added.

The man did eventually put his pants back on.

Eventually, they discovered that the man’s pants were in the overhead compartment above the woman. “After he had his pants on, my husband went to have some stern words with a flight attendant and expressed that he wanted the man arrested. The FA told me they were working on filling out a report and mentioned that the man was high status with Delta,” the woman explained.

The man was given coffee to “sober up,” and six hours later, he did seem a bit less inebriated. “He was allowed to get off the plane in Tokyo and go about his day,” she added.

After the trip, she explained that Delta Airlines reached out for a “wellness check in,” but told her that they couldn’t give her any more information about the incident.

The man is allegedly facing repercussions.

“I didn’t know at the time is I guess when the boarding door closes on an international flight, anything that happens actually goes to the FBI,” the woman said, according to People.

Delta Airlines shared a statement, telling the outlet that the man was placed on an internal no-fly list pending the investigation. “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behavior, and we continue to be in touch with our customer about her valid concerns,” a spokesperson told the outlet.

Still, the woman isn’t stopping until she knows something will be done. “The man deserves to be on a sex offender list. He was less than 10 feet away from two minors,” she said, adding that “we would like to make sure that he is held responsible for these actions.”
