'Her babies need her,' Emma Baum's mother said.
Jamie Baum believes her daughterâs boyfriend is somehow involved with her disappearance. He has been taken into custody but that’s not related to Emma Baum’s disappearance; he failed to appear for a warrant in an unrelated case, Gary Police Commander Jack Hamady said. Regardless of the boyfriendâs potential involvement, Jamie Baum just wants her daughter back, the Post reported.
âI would like my daughter home,â she said during the media conference. âWe miss her. Her babies need her. Her family needs her.â
Police are analyzing video footage in their search.
A missing persons report was filed for Emma Baum on October 28, 18 days after she was last seen. Police have focused their search efforts on three sites that have proved significant during the investigation. They also plan to analyze video footage from the areas where the pregnant mother was last seen.
Emma Baum is 5â3″, weighs about 136 pounds, and often wears wigs. Her natural hair color is brunette.
Smith sent a message to Emma as well.
In case Emma Baum disappeared of her own free will, her mother sent encouragement. âWe love you, Emma,” she said, per the Post. “And if you can hear us, there is nothing that you have done to make any of us stop loving you. We trust that somebody knows something and we want her home,â Smith said.
