The family of a missing woman from Florida was shocked when they learned of her whereabouts. The woman, who has been missing for several months, turned up in New York City. And she was only found because she was pregnant and gave birth to her baby while she was riding the New York City subway.
Passengers on the train with her quickly stepped in to make sure she safely delivered her baby. Now they all have quite a story to tell.

WABC reported that on February 12, 2025, a 25-year-old woman gave birth to a baby girl on a southbound W train while it was stopped at the 34th St/Herald Square station. Train passengers helped the woman safely deliver her little one, asking the conductor to stop the train and call 911.
“I’m still minding my business, headphones on. As we’re entering 34th Street, you hear her asking ‘help help help,’ and then you hear a baby, like, start crying,” witness Bryanna Brown told WABC.
“The lady that was holding the baby was able to cut the umbilical cord safely and help her. From our knowledge she wasn’t a doctor or anything, she was just someone who had full knowledge of like, what to do in this situation, so thank god for her,” Brown said of a fellow passenger.

Riley Allen was definitely in the right place at the right time. “They were asking, ‘Does anybody have scissors? Does anyone on the train have scissors?’ Because the train was still moving. And I said, ‘I have a pocket knife,’” she told PIX11. Several women came together to use Allen’s pocket knife and cut the cord.
Mom and baby were transported by emergency personnel to Bellevue Hospital.
According to The New York Times, the mother was later identified by law enforcement as Jenny Saint Pierre, a missing woman from Florida. Her family reported her as missing to Hallandale Beach police in September 2024.
The Hallandale Beach Police Department posted about the missing woman to its social media channels on September 12, 2024. Saint Pierre was last seen by her ex-boyfriend on August 5. The alert mentioned her pregnancy.

The video of Saint Pierre went viral on social media, and the missing woman’s older sister Stephania saw it, the Times reported. “Oh, my God, look at her little face!” she said, telling the newspaper she recognized her sister’s pink duffel bag in the video. “Oh, my God, I am going to cry! That’s my first niece!” she exclaimed.
Stephania told the newspaper she’s not sure why her younger sister ended up in New York City. There was no word on what will happen next to the missing woman or her baby girl.
