A father in Kentucky was in for the surprise of his life in the middle of the night. After hearing concerning sounds in his teen daughter’s bedroom, he went to investigate. There, he found a naked man, Parker Kramer, 20. The father was able to scare off Kramer by firing his gun while he called the police.
Authorities were able to locate and capture Kramer. Upon apprehension, he was questioned, and made a disturbing confession. He was arrested and charged, and he will be heading to court.
According to a statement issued by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrived at the home shortly after midnight on April 28, 2025, People reported. Authorities were called by the father after discovering an unknown man in his home.
The father, whose name is being withheld to protect his minor daughter, reportedly told deputies “he awoke in the night and heard noises coming from his 13-year-old daughter’s room.” When he walked in, a naked man was on the floor.

“After telling the suspect that he was calling the police, the father went downstairs and soon retrieved a handgun,” the statement read. “The suspect pushed past the father and then ran out the front door.” It was then that the father reportedly used a gun to fire three shots. The shots were aimed “into the ground near the front porch of the residence.”
Deputies began looking for the man and were initially unsuccessful. But then they found his car and showed the girl’s father a photo. He confirmed that Kramer was the naked man on his daughter’s floor. Kramer was found by a drone, according to authorities, and arrested on a burglary charge two hours later, per People.
During questioning, Kramer told police he had driven 90 miles from Louisville to Florence to meet the girl that night. He also allegedly “made admissions which led to additional rape and sodomy charges,” the news outlet reported. The age of consent is 16 in Kentucky. Deputies didn’t reveal if Kramer knew the girl was a minor.
After his admissions, authorities added two counts of rape in the second degree and one count of sodomy in the second degree, per People. Kramer is being held at Boone County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 5.
