A Russian mother reportedly died at the hands of her son after she took his tablet and told him to do his homework. The unnamed 15-year-old allegedly brutally killed Alexandra Gabbasova, 48, with an ax. He then left her body while he went into town for a treat. He reportedly returned home and played on his tablet some more before eventually turning himself into police.
According to the Daily Mail, the teenager was on a break from school and Gabbasova thought playing games 12 hours a day was too much. Her son disagreed, and tragically, one of them wound up dead.

Gabbasova reportedly worried about her sonâs screen time.
According to the Daily Mail, Gabbasova confronted her son about his screen time. When he allegedly made a scene, she took away both his phone and his tablet. This apparently enraged him, and he struck back.
The teenager brutally killed his mother.
He allegedly took an ax and repeatedly struck his mother in the head while she lay in bed. Then, he chopped her up and nailed her bedroom door shut, according to the Daily Mail. The teenager, who lived near Moscow, apparently left Gabbasovaâs body in the home and went to the village of Krasnaya Storozhka to purchase chocolate.
After heading into town, he allegedly returned home to play games.
The Daily Mail reported that the teen played Minecraft before contacting police in Sergiev Posad. He allegedly used a search engine to find the closest police station to his home. By the time officers arrived, they estimated the mother had been dead for at least four hours.

The killing came as a shock to some who knew him.
According to the Daily Mail, his teachers described the student as âquietâ and said he âacted normally.â The day his mother died, he reportedly acted ârandomlyâ and âchaotically,â according to Telegram Channel 112, per the Daily Mail.
