Four-month-old, Xylon Adams arrived at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with life-threatening injuries on January 8, 2024. The baby had multiple fractures, bruises, and a head injury. Staff did their best to treat the infant, but sadly, he died a few days later on January 11. Prosecutors charged his father, Daquan White, with murder. According to an affidavit obtained by News on 6, now Xylon’s mother, Savawna Bowen, faces a charge of child neglect.
Nearly a year later, prosecutors say Bowen’s internet history proves she knew White had hurt Xylon and she didn’t help the infant in time.

Bowen allegedly left her two children alone with White.
Per court documents, Bowen left her 2-year-old and Xylon, alone with White to stay with her boyfriend, News on 6 noted in a Facebook post. During that time, White allegedly abused the infant. When Bowen returned, she reportedly questioned White about a mark on Xylon’s leg, and the man allegedly said he heard a “pop.”
White allegedly discouraged Bowen from taking Xylon to the doctor.
According to the affidavit, after noticing the baby’s leg, Bowen left a second time for multiple hours. When she returned, she heard the baby crying.
White allegedly told her he put his fingers in the baby’s throat to stop his cries. Ultimately, he had a seizure. Bowen reportedly wanted to take the baby to the doctor, but White told her to wait a few days and to “lie” about his leg.
The mother’s internet search history reportedly caused concern.
Investigators found that following Xylon’s injuries, Bowen looked up things such as “popped leg,” swollen mouth and “baby’s femur is sticking out.” A physician reportedly told police that had the baby received medical attention immediately, he likely would have survived, News on 6 reported.
