12-Year-Old Girl Told Mom ‘Good Night’ After 1:30 a.m. Then Disappeared From Home for 3 Days

A family in Ohio is resting easier now that a missing 12-year-old girl has been found. Armani Reynolds went missing in the middle of the night after her mother believed she was going to bed. When the mother went to check on her daughter the following morning, she was gone and her window was open. Naturally, when the girl hadn’t returned, they quickly reached out to police to report her missing. Not wanting to sit and wait, the family also mounted their own search party to help locate the girl. Police and the family didn’t share many details about what led to the tween’s disappearance, but it’s good that she’s back home.

She left her home without a trace.

The Toledo Police Department shared in a social media post that the 12-year-old girl was last seen on March 7, 2026. “There are concerns for her safety,” the post read.

Her mother, Devin Reynolds, had last spoken with her around 1:30 a.m. “Between 2 to 8 a.m. is when she had to have left, but we last spoke at 1:30 in the morning,” she told WTOL on March 9. The mom believed her daughter likely climbed out of her bedroom window.

The family was concerned because the tween had never run away before. “We honestly don’t know,” family friend Heather Cox told the outlet. “I feel like if Armani was able to come home, she’d be home by now. We’re not giving up until we find her.”

Armani Reynolds may have communicated with a man on social media.

Devin Reynolds told WTVG that she found her daughter’s bedroom window unlocked, but her asthma inhaler was still in her bedroom. Police tried to ping Armani’s phone but were unable to locate it.

The mom told Toledo police about a Snapchat account that had sent her daughter an explicit picture weeks before her disappearance.

“There was a man on our Snap that sent her an explicit photo Feb. 15,” the mom said, per WTVG. No additional details about the man or the Snapchat account were given.

Her grandfather expressed concern at how long his granddaughter had been missing and what that meant in terms of being able to find her.

“I think at this point now, since it’s been over 48 hours, there’s a higher concern now. And I think there’s going to be more action taken at this point,” he said.

Her family was never mad at her for disappearing for three days.

“I just want her to come home. She’s not in trouble, just come home,” Devin Reynolds said. She pleaded with her daughter, saying, “I love you. I just want you home and I’m not mad at you.”

Again, the mother made it clear that she merely wanted to see her daughter return safely. “I just want you to come home,” she shared, per WTVG.

On March 10, 2026, the Toledo Police Department shared that Armani Reynolds had been found safe “at a residence in Sylvania.” No additional details about her disappearance or whose home she was found in were given. Police also didn’t note if the investigation was going to continue.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the information and helped spread the word,” the update concluded.
