Parents Are ‘Naming’ Their Kids After the Reasons They Had Them & It’s Too Funny

When two people love each other very much, they get married, have kids, and live happily ever after — or, at least that's what we tell our children when they're young. But in reality, families come in all shapes and sizes, and the reasons why we decide to have kids are uniquely personal. Bunmi Laditan, the hilarious mom behind the Honest Toddler Twitter account, recently gave parents a chance to spill the dirt on how their kids came to be when she tweeted what kids would actually be called if we named them after the reasons we had them.

"If we named kids after the reason we had them, it'd be like 'Hey, Marital Problems, stop hitting Broken Condom, I'm trying to put Hennessy down for a nap,'" the mom wrote.

Her post quickly went viral (because it's hilarious).

And just like that, a Twitter movement was born.

Hundreds of parents responded with their own real AF "baby names," like this mom who says her kid's name should really be Rhythm Method.

Others cited more mundane events, like movie night and bad math (LOL).

But no matter how any of these kids came to be, one thing is clear: Each of them is very, very loved.
