A mom wanted to surprise her son on his birthday, so she reached out to her community for help. The responses exceeded her expectations and reminded her that “there is so much good in the world.” On TikTok, mom Nadja Jovanovic explained that she utilized her Florida town’s Facebook group to see if anyone with a “cool car” would be willing to come over for her son’s birthday and surprise her “Porshe loving little boy.”
Nadja told People that she didn’t have high expectations when she posted in the Facebook group, but figured she would give it a shot. Her son loves cars, so she thought having someone with a luxury car come by would be a special way to celebrate his 4th birthday.
Nearly 100 people responded.

In her post in the Facebook group, Nadja wrote that her son “is turning four and is absolutely obsessed with cars.” She asked if any luxury car owners would be willing to visit their home on March 23 or 24 for “maybe 15 [minutes] tops.”
“It would make his ENTIRE LIFE if he could just sit inside of one and see it up close,” the mom added. “It would be such a special surprise.”
Her community did not disappoint, and ended up making her son’s birthday extra special. In a video shared on TikTok, multiple cars showed up for her son’s birthday, creating a parade just for him.
She said ‘a local car enthusiast’ helped coordinate.
Speaking to People, the mom recalled receiving responses from “so many people,” including a man who surprised the family with the parade. “Mike Mallozzi, a local car enthusiast, was the one who came out and surprised us with a police-escorted luxury car parade,” Nadja told the publication. Mike had told her that “one or two cars would show up,” but the day before her son’s birthday, about 10 cars showed up at their home. Later that day and the following day, even more car enthusiasts came by.
The heartwarming video went viral on social media.
The video that shows numerous car enthusiasts driving by for Nadja’s son’s birthday now has more than 21 million views on TikTok.
“Now this is community,” one person reacted to the video. A second person wrote, “As a mother, I would not be able to contain my tears.”
People loved the way the mom’s community showed up for her — but also gave her credit for reaching out in the first place.
“His own personal car show!?!? I can’t 😭,” a third person reacted.
While Nadja’s kids surely loved the surprise, one of her followers joked that the luxury car owners probably enjoyed the celebration as much as the kids did. “I just know the car guys were prolly even more excited than your son to do this haha,” they wrote.
About a week later, a man named Phil also showed up at their house.

Even after Nadja’s son’s birthday had passed, members of the community continued to reach out. In a follow-up video, Nadja introduced her followers to a man named Phil, who visited the family’s home and showed them his “beautiful fire red Corvette.”
“It was just the sweetest thing,” the mom said on TikTok. Responding to a comment on one of her videos, she said, “It costs nothing to be a good person.” She added that she was “so overwhelmed” by “all the love.”
