‘OMG’ – Mom ‘Mortified’ To Discover Her 1-Year-Old Son Ate Her Late Father’s Ashes

It is amazing what toddlers are capable of sometimes. These adorable little terrors have a habit of leaving chaos in their wake. But the chaos does make for funny stories, especially on social media. A mom in England recently shared an absolutely shocking discovery: Her toddler got ahold of her dad’s ashes, and ended up eating some.

Her story is proof that even when you think something is secure, a toddler on a mission will find a way to get it. All you can do is hope for the best.

You really can never leave toddlers unattended.

“When your son eats your dad,” the TikTok user, whose username is @palominolil, says. The little one is seen covered in ashes and whining. She then shows a small brown urn on a shelf, ashes everywhere, including a shot from the couch.

“My son has eaten my dad’s ashes,” she says in complete disbelief. The video is simply captioned “#omg.”

The comments are full of jokes.

“He’ll never loose 2 truths and a lie,” one person quipped. “Let us know if he starts acting like ur dad,” another commenter wrote.

“Why’s he whining? was your dad bitter?” someone asked. “‘I ate my grandfathers ashes’ is a killer opener to a college essay,” someone else added.

“I don’t think this is how reincarnation is supposed to work,” yet another person commented.

“No but fr r u ok?? Because I’d be TRAUMATISED,” one person asked, to which mom replied “I am nearly now.”

How could you wrap your mind around your toddler eating your dad’s ashes?

The mom, whose name is Natasha Emeny, spoke with the Daily Mail about the experience. She was putting away laundry when her 1-year-old son Koah got the ashes.

“It took me a moment to realize it was in fact my dad’s ashes,” she said, noting the ashes were on the “top shelf.”

“I was mortified. I’m still trying to process it!”

This is something mom will never forget.

A couple days later, Emeny posted a series of selfies with Koah on TikTok. “Morning selfies from me and coco been a crazy 48 hours since this little one opened up my dads ashes 🙈,” she wrote.

Since eating some of his grandfather, Koah is “absolutely fine,” Emeny told The Sun. She explained that the little one “didn’t consume much.”
