Anyone who has spent more than five minutes with a toddler knows that they are a handful. Most toddlers seem to have an endless well of energy until they don't, and in that moment, their personalities can get intense quickly. Additionally, toddlers need routines to make their lives, and the lives of their grownups much easier.
A mom recently took to social media to share that the father of her child was requesting extended visitation with their 2-year-old. As if that wasn't enough, he and the child have never met.

The mom asked a good question.
"Somebody tell me how much time your child’s other parent asked for in court," the mom, who is named Sunni, asked in a TikTok video.
She went on to share the truly complicated story of what she had been going through with this other parent. "Our paternity test comes back in theory today," she said. "My child’s alleged father, literally with his whole chest, asked for visitation on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., pickup and drop-off at a neutral location."
It seems like a ridiculous request.
"Okay, am I trippin'?" Sunni asked.
She questioned the need for a neutral location like a "library" or "McDonald's," "not even a police station," she said. But then she drops the most important detail of the whole story, telling viewers, "Keep in mind, he has never met this child." Wow.

The whole thing feels like it can be very messy.
"He asked for 14 hours straight with a two-and-a-half-year-old who had never met him," she wrote.
Again, she dropped another bombshell revelation about the father writing, "He also set me on fire and sent a bloody pig's head to my house, but not a part of this custody case." That seems like a pretty glaring thing to leave out of a custody case.
The mom has been making an effort to create a working co-parenting relationship, but has had no luck so far.
Sunni shared that the father wants to keep her from knowing where he lives, which is his choice. But she also shared that despite her efforts, he has not made himself available to create a co-parenting relationship or schedule.
"I have asked him time and time again if he wanted to meet the baby — if he would like to be introduced to the baby," she shared.
"His lawyer keeps stressing that he filed in September, but he had since September to meet the baby," she added. "Am I tripping?" she asked again.
People cannot believe the father's actions.
People in the comments can't help but express their disbelief, and point out that this father clearly has never met a toddler if he thinks that 10 p.m. is a good time to keep them out.
"10pm is wild, he clearly know nothing about kids lol," one person wrote.
"Nah they can have supervised visits at the center, until he knows him better," another wrote.
"This is how the judge is gonna know he knows NOTHING about kids ," someone else commented.
"10 pm The judge: Sir you lack the basic knowledge of toddlers," another person commented.
