Mom Shares Wild Story After Her 1st Grader Came Home With Diamond Ring a Little Boy Gave Her

So many of us have stories about having a boyfriend or girlfriend in elementary school. Even now, many parents have heard about the person their elementary school aged kids are “dating.” It’s adorable and harmless, so most parents don’t say or do much about it. One mom on TikTok had a hilarious story about her first grader and the boy who stole her heart.

And possibly stole a family heirloom. Or at the least, he has a relative who might have noticed an important piece of jewelry was missing.

The little girl has been in a long-term relationship.

Mom Allie Phillips posted a funny story on her TikTok account about her daughter. In the video, Phillips explains that her first grader has had the same boyfriend, a boy named Brandon, since kindergarten. Allegedly, the two of them were even going to get married one day. But everything changed for them the day the ring surfaced.

A new boy entered the picture.

“I need to tell you something,” the little girl said. “Mom, you need to sit down.”

Apparently, while the girl was playing at recess, a classmate named Trevor approached her and presented her with a ring. Not a ring pop, or something cheap and plastic. It has a diamond and a gold band. Trevor asked her to be his girlfriend, so it was goodbye Brandon and hello Trevor.

“She broke up with Brandon, her kindergarten boyfriend of almost a year, for Trevor, who just rolled up with a ring,” the mom laughed.

Clearly, mom knew that she had to do something.

Phillips assumed that it was “somebody’s ring,” and knew that it needed to be returned. So she went on Facebook and posted in both the local community group as well as a page for the school. She told the whole story of Trevor and the ring. She shared some of the funniest comments people left on the post, and they did not disappoint.

Thankfully, Trevor’s mom did see the post and informed her that they had recently taken a trip to Alabama. According to his mom, the first grader pilfered his great-grandmother’s ring.

“So not only did he steal a ring, but he crossed state lines with it,” Phillips quipped. She did have a plan to return the ring to Trevor’s mom, who was sending it back to his great-grandma.

People could not get over Trevor’s game.

“Trevor out here giving away heirlooms lol,” one person wrote.

“Trevor out here showing all the ladies ‘if he wanted to he would,'” another person commented.

“Oooo Trevor headed to his room for the rest of his life,” another commenter joked.

“Trevor risking his freedom to give your baby girl a ring!” someone exclaimed.

“Trevor needs to do classes and teach these old men some game,” another wrote.
